Although Hot Racing doesn’t really offer anything new in terms of story or genre, the game makes up for this in terms of the options that players are presented with. There are dozens of different tracks to choose from and the action takes place in a large number of popular countries around the world. This helps to keep the game feeling fresh and exciting and for those who have a love for travel it will also get their motors running.

The other great thing about the game is that the graphics are very vibrant and detailed. At times the action feels so real that it is almost like taking part in an actual race, although this race is much bigger and badder than any race that players would be able to experience for real. The sounds add an extra dimension and the roar of the crowd as you zip around the track is sure to give you an extra boast of confidence as well as the hunger to succeed.

Another great thing about the game is that there are several different modes to choose from. In the regular mode, players have the chance to make a name for themselves as a top racing and speed their way along the career track until they are acknowledged as being the best of the best.

In addition, there are more than a dozen different quick race tracks. These are ideal places for players to hone their skills and gain the points that they need to upgrade their cars. People who have limited time and simply want to dip into the game while on a break are sure to love these quick races.

Another extra dose of realism is provided by the weather that is selected during races. This ranges from bright and sunny days where you can almost feel the heat reflected off the windshield, to sleet and fog. Unfortunately, it is not possible to customise the weather settings and players are forced to take what they are given rather than having fun choosing the type of weather they like best or the weather that will pose the best challenge.

Part of the fun of many racing games is customizing your mean machine to make it a force to be reckoned with. While this is still a feature of Hot Racing, the option is rather limited and there are not as many customisation options as with other popular racing games.

The bonuses feature while racing adds an extra dose of interest and excitement though. Racers can pick up certain bonuses on the track as they zoom along and these bonuses will give them an extra boost that might help them to cross the finish line first.

Hot Racing might not be the best racing game around and to be honest it might not even make it into the top ten. However, the different types of tracks, cars and other features are diverse and varied enough to make the game a lot of fun and it is certainly worth a look if you are into this gaming genre.
